Even though COVID hit Bihar relatively late, it is a hard hit. Half of the entire state’s children are stunted and malnourished. With 100 million people in the state, only 40 doctors per 100,000 people (national average in India is 1:1800 and WHO recommends 1:1000). Current rate of COVID rise is 4% daily.
