Over $100 billion worth of damage, with 25 million acres of forest burnt and billion animals killed that are unique species of Kangaroos and koalas, is a catastrophic damage to environment. 
The scale and ferocity of the damage raise questions about how nature will recover - and the fires are now affecting a much higher percentage of Australia’s population.
