BULLYING IS A PUBLIC HEALTH AND ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH ISSUE

When we think of bullying, we think of pictures of children teased or pulled or pushed. But, more than these immediate manifestations, there are range of emotional and psychological impact over the entire life span of bullied people. Sometimes, it is also manifestation of The perpetrators mental health. 
Most pervasive effect of bullying is impact on self-regulation of emotions. One of serious manifestations is suicide or attempt to suicide. Depression is very common among bullied people. There are evidence of increased high risk behaviors such as vandalism, theft, promiscuity, self-abuse.
