HUNGER WILL KILL MILLIONS MORE THAN COVID 19 DUE TO ECONOMY FALL AND SUPPLY CHAIN DISRUPTION

Closed borders, curfews and travel restrictions have disrupted food supplies and supply chain in addition to food labor workforce. Millions of people will die especially in the countries like Afghanistan, Haiti and other countries due to exaggerated humanitarian conditions.

Oxfam estimates over 12,000 people may die from hunger due to COVID consequences (compared to 2000 deaths from COVID daily currently). This crisis is related to unemployment and breakdown in informal labor market.
