Biodiversity is variety of all life forms, all plants, all animals, micro organisms, their genes and entire ecosystems which under pins life on earth. Most people are aware of polio, Ebola, SARS, and MERS. CoVID19 is the current one. Other than Polio, most pandemics are originated from animals. They spill over to humans because nature of cohabitation was disturbed. Nature is what keeps life cycle of all organisms intact. Disrespecting the nature and animals by abusing is what triggers pandemics like COVID 19.

Biodiversity is essential for our lives. The main benefits of biodiversity are:

Supports water cycle, pollination, soil formation.

Natural genetic diversity that improve crop production, natural energy sources, domesticated pets

Keeps climate control, pure water and clean air, pests and diseases control
