PUBLIC HEALTH AS A GLOBAL GOODWILL

85% of world population live in developing countries. Health disparities can be addressed by clinical medicine not by doctor-patient encounters. 1.2 billion live on less than $1 per day and 2.8 billion people live on $2 per day. Staying in better health will not diminish the benefits of others from the same.
Civic Participation impacts health by building social and cultural cohesion, including robust social and civic engagement, supportive relationships and neighborhoods, and community empowerment.
