SEMEN ALLERGY

Even though it is rare, people have been known to have allergic reactions to proteins in their partner's semen (semen allergy). Semen allergy may be related to infertility.

Signs and symptoms of semen allergy include redness, burning, and swelling where the semen has contacted the skin, usually in the outer genital area.

Topic like this require further open dialogue and additional research. If infact, there is semen Allergy ( most likely yes, just as in allergy to any protein), more data and some type of intervention to address is needed.
This is one area where physicians should take bold step to investigate and understand possibility of infertility among child seeking couples
